FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I use the planting kit?
Open the product bag. Add your pet’s ashes and mix. Plant with your chosen tree or flower, following the standard planting directions. For potted plants, add potting soil. If scattering, let sit for 90-120 days first for best results.
Is it legal to bury my pet’s ashes?
Yes. In Canada, you can legally bury (or plant) your pet’s ashes on any private property, with the owner’s permission. You may also scatter ashes (pets or people) on private property with permission, or federal and provincial land. More details here.
If you are planning a burial or funeral at a pet cemetery, we are happy to help coordinate with them, free of charge. Please just contact us.
What size planter or pot will I need?
For the SMALL kit, we suggest choosing a 10 Litre container — approximately 10” x 10” (26cm x 26cm) or larger.
What type of plants can I choose?
Our mix is effective with any variety of indoor or outdoor plant. So choose what is most meaningful! Add your pet’s ashes to the mix, and follow the standard instructions for plant care.
