I now pronounce you, bonded for life.
Let’s make it ‘official’.
-
Getting a Marriage Licence
The first step to getting officially married, is to apply for a Marriage Licence. We recommend doing this about 2 months prior to your ceremony. One or both partners will visit your local Municipal Government office. An administrator will require photo ID for both partners, and will assist you with the Licence form. Fees range by Municipality (about $150). Once you receive your Licence, your paperwork portion is done! Keep it in safe until the wedding, and I’ll take it from there.

Your Ceremony
What can you expect? I draft and share a personalized Ceremony script for your review and edits—after all, this is YOUR special day!
We’ll review all the “usual” Ceremony pieces in a consultation call together, and decide on your personal style for each.
I specialize in bringing modern-day twists to traditional rituals—for a Ceremony speaks to who you are, and still has that fairytale magic.

Making it Official
Most of our calls focus on crafting a meaningful ceremony that you’ll always remember. Helping you feel confident and excited to walk the aisle, exchange vows, and “tie the knot”. Yet the most important Officiant role is ensuring your marriage is legally binding—otherwise, it’s just a party! I am registered to perform marriages by the Ontario Marriage Act, and will file your Licence with the government in 24-48 hours of your ceremony. Eight weeks later, your official Marriage Certificate is available from the Province for framing or changing names.
Meet your Officiant.
